Melissa Etheridge is one of rock music’s greatest female icons, renowned for her passionate lyrics, her powerful tunes and great songs as well as her unique raspy-voice rock and roll singing. DJ Femi will be playing a set. The talented DJ brings her diverse influences and hybrid unique songs to WOMEN WHO ROCK. One of the most popular DJ’s in Pittsburgh for her vibes and her tunes, she stands to support women in the entertainment industry and worldwide.

The Magee-Womens Research Institute is working to change the way the world treats women: from advocating for more research dedicated to women’s health, through to fighting for more women to be included in clinical trials. Research shows that medicine and treatments have historically been tailored to men’s health, and historically this has created a health gap, and has meant that the nuances of treating women, and their health and reproductive biology has been neglected. The Magee-Womens Research Institute seeks to change that!
