Widely known for their Big Bootie mixes that get crowds shaking to the beat, critically-acclaimed DJ duo TWO FRIENDS is turning the heat right up. Following their jam-packed "The Planet Two Friends Tour" last year, Eli Sones and Matthew Halper are set to make their new headlining run even bigger - it's all coming to life at Heatwave: The Tour. Creating larger and wilder nights of all-out EDM rave parties, get ready to sweat in a season of electrically hot beats!
"We’re so insanely excited to bring Heatwave: The Tour across North America," the duo shared. "With each tour, we always try to elevate and create an entirely unique experience for our fans. From massove success with Big Bootie, the unstoppable pair finally found mainstream success with their original tracks. Two of their singles "More Than Yesterday" with Russel Dickerson and "If Only I" with Loud Luxury and Bebe Rexha charted on the US Dance list by Billboard. Released during the Planet Two Friends Tour, these friends saw skyrocketing demand for their live shows, with over 100,000 tickets sold.
Looking back, these fellas met in PE class, skipped school for Coachella, and just jammed through life. "It was absolutely life-changing," Halper told PEOPLE. "It was the first music festival we'd ever been to and it set the standard so high," From jamming out in the desert, they soon found themselves on stage - performing at Coachella in 2023.
Recalling how the festival sparked their passion to make music themselves, "we also saw so many of the acts that inspired us to make music together," he added.
From skipping school to hosting shows that make their younger fans want to skip their classes to jam in the desert, Two Friends has come a long way. With music described as "songs that are fun and get you dancing and moving, but also hopefully resonate with you on a more emotional level at the same time," it's no wonder why their 'bootie shakin' mixes and hard-hitting anthems never fail to sell out festivals and tours.
