Stage AE is set to host the iconic Avett Brothers on Friday 23rd September 2022 (Rescheduled from Friday 19th August 2022), who will be performing in Pittsburgh as part of their 2022 tour. The tour is in support of their recent album, Closer Than Together, released in October 2019. The album garnered a lot of positive responses from fans and music critics, and fans can expect to hear plenty of music from it on the tour. The 22 date event begins on 26th March and will include notable stops such as Brooklyn, Charleston, Milwaukee. Ringo Starr and His All star band will support them on selected shows in Gilford and Boston. The sibling led-duo of Avett Brothers are hot fan favorites this season, and they are expected to sell out most of their shows. The Avett brothers are one of the most renowned and sought-after folk-rock bands in the United States. Their upcoming tour has received a lot of attention from the fans as they want to see their favorite band performing live in a venue near them. The band is known for their combination of bluegrass, folk, rock n roll and country influences which make them such an exciting prospect. It features the two brothers; Scott and Seth Avett alongside Bob Crawford and Joe Kwon. They are also joined by touring members Bonnie Avett-Rini, Tania Elizabeth and Mike Marsh.
The Avett Brothers were formerly part of another rock band, Nemo. After Nemo broke up, the brothers continued to write acoustic music and released their first full length studio album, Country Was, in 2001. They embarked on a self-booked tour for the album’s promotion. Closer Than Together was the band’s 10th studio album and fans would be looking forward to hear some tracks on the upcoming tour. Their 2016 album, True Sadness, peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 and received a Grammy nomination for the Best Americana album award. The band is known for their extensive tour routines and their performances are incredible. Fans are destined to have a great time and which is why tickets are expected to sell out very soon!
