Stage AE
Sevendust and their unique brand of rock will make a stop at Stage AE as part of their Southside Double-Wide tour. They're promising that this is an "acoustic" performance, but if you've been following the band, they've said that about most of their latest shows, and it's just them in their element! That's what you really want though when Sevendust take the stage and they're going to be in Pittsburgh on Monday November 24th.
Cory Marks will serve as the opening act on this tour; it's an interesting choice for sure! He's a Canadian country music singer who brings a completely different vibe to the stage. Then again, that might just be what Sevendust are looking for after all, "conventional" is never a word that can be used to describe them.

Sevendust have proven that their true passion are these live shows. That's why they're back on the road with this Southside Double-Wide tour. The fact that they're bringing a country music singer on the road with them makes their intentions clear. It's an acoustic show where you're going to get the heavy guitar lines that you associate with Sevendust, but it's also a show with a toned-down vibe where you can grab a beer and have a blast! If you're a die-hard Sevendust fan, then you're going to be one of the few in the crowd who know the words to some of the tracks on their 2023 album "Truth Killer." At these live shows, they're known to pull songs from deeper in their bag of tricks, particularly from their 1999 "Home." That was the release that truly cemented their place in music, and it's the one that gave us "Denial" and "Waffle," which are certainly two songs that are going to make the setlist at Stage AE. Don't be afraid of the heavier guitar lines if you consider yourself a little more country. Sevendust is sometimes described as a "groovy metal" band, and that's one of the coolest labels you can have. Heavy guitar lines, yes, but mixed with chill vibes, and that's really all you need to know about this show.
