His third effort, Lyle Lovett and His Large Band broke barriers and showed the world that music has no genre boundaries. Fast forward to four decades later, Lovett is still practicing his love for various music techniques. And he also continues to take his Large Band on massive outing! The album was one of his most beloved work yet - it has also secured Lovett his a Grammy for Best Country Performance. The effort also features Lovett's captivating rendition of "Stand By Your Man." Now, the personnel in his the album was gargantuan! Lovett had 21 musicians, including his longtime basis Leland Sklar.
