You will rock so hard that it will feel like you are Breaking the Law this March 17 as KK's Priest rocks the iconic Stage AE. Oh yes, K.K. Downing, the former guitarist of Judas Priest, is back on the rock metal scene, bringing with him the legendary Tim "Ripper" Owens for their "Return of the Sinner 2024 Tour." You are invited to experience a night of pure metal magic on this electrifying Sunday evening. The Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame inductee has metal rock running in his veins, and there's no stopping him from unleashing this in an evening of exhilarating rock music. KK's priests will be joined by "The Ballad of Jayne" hitmakers and the Swiss/Dutch heavy metal band Burning Witches in the entirety of their North American tour. These bands are sure to set the stage on fire before K.K. Downing and the rest of his band take center stage. When the legendary guitarist K.K. Downing left the megaband, Judas Priest, many fans were saddened and disappointed. After all, the band would never be the same without his skillful, aggressive, and rock-influenced guitar style. That is why fans were ecstatic, to say the least, when the English musician announced that he would be forming his own heavy metal band with the one and only Tim "Ripper" Owens as the lead vocalist. For OG fans, this is an unprecedented yet pleasingly shocking announcement that will bring the two Judas Priest former members together on one stage. Completing the band are Tony Newton on bass, Sean Elg on drums, and A.J. Mills. With such big names in the band, KK's Priest gets together as a solid slab of a classic heavy metal rock band.
The band debuted in 2021 with "Sermons of Sinner," a 10-track album that showed that the veteran rockers cannot be underestimated. The album charted in several territories, peaking at number 2 and 3 in the UK Rock & Metal Albums and UK Independent Albums, respectively. This was followed by their recently released sophomore album "The Sinner Rides Again." Dubbed by Blabber Mouth's Dom Lawson as "an absolutely ripping metal record … that brings Owens's partnership with Downing to new heights," the album is a spectacular work of raw metal magic — a beautiful predecessor to the first album.
Although the band is relatively new, their live shows became a looked-forward event as their performances became more energized and filled with pulsing liveliness. Evident from Downing's rousing epic shredding, Tony "Ripper" Owens' famous, powerful vocals were able to reach millions of streams.
This year, metal fans will be in for an electrifying ride as KK's Priest will be embarking on an exciting 2024 USA tour. The band will perform at the Stage AE on March 17 with the glam metal band the LA Guns.
