Following a set of breakout singles and the massive #1 Alternative Airplay success of “Sad in Carolina,” the former fry cook, oil field operator, concrete surface decorator and kids’ baseball coach soon became alt-rock sensations. Now, they’re leading a new wave of rock artists who keep the genre alive. 

Prelude Press describes the EP as something that “features their trademark melancholy lyrics set to fuzzy, downtuned guitars that would make even the most stoic cowboy weep and then mosh in a sweaty pit.”
