American metalcore royalty clashes on stage with Australian post-hardcore legends! August Burns Red and The Amity Affliction co-headline the incredible Spring Horizons Tour 2026 with special guests Boundaries and Heavensgate at Stage AE on Sunday, 12th April 2026. And with a history of both headliners selling out Stage AE individually, this will be a "must-buy" gig!
First up, on their debut US tour, Heavensgate opens the show with the atmospheric metalcore sounds of "Chemical," "Ginseng," "Violent," and "Symbiotic." Then switch back to the American band Boundaries for "Easily Erased," "A Pale Light Lingers," "Carve," "Heaven's Broken Heart," and the brand-new "Scars On A Soul." And onto the first headline set with "Soak Me in Bleach," "Open Letter," "Don't Lean on Me," "It's Hell Down Here," and a true homecoming song, "Pittsburgh" from The Amity Affliction. And then, another headline set from August Burns Red with "White Washed," "Composure," "Mariana's Trench," "Ancestry," "Meddler," and some brand-new tracks to boot!

August Burns Red and The Amity Affliction hit the road this spring for the Spring Horizons Tour, with Boundaries and Heavensgate serving as support. August Burns Red and The Amity Affliction are sharing equal billing, meaning both bands will likely play full-length headlining sets.
“We’ve been talking in the background about touring with August Burns Red for years at this point,” says Amity’s Joel Birch. “It’s so awesome that it’s finally happening. We can’t wait to get back to our second home and bring what we feel will be one of the best tours we’ve been a part of to all the cities we’re hitting. The lineup is amazing, the venues are amazing, and we couldn’t be more hyped for it – see you there.”

An early 00s metalcore band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, they were nominated for two Grammy Awards for Best Metal Performance ("Identity" in 2016 and "Invisible Enemy" in 2018). And, despite online stories, the truth is, their name comes from a former member's girlfriend named August who burned his dog Red!
From Gympie, Queensland, and with four consecutive number 1 albums on the ARIA charts, they are one of Australia's most successful musical exports in the heavy genre. And it was their album, Let The Ocean Take Me, that finally broke them into the US.
From Hartford, CT, they are one of the "New Wave of American Metalcore" bands, although they started out as just another hardcore band.
On their first US tour, the emerging atmospheric metalcore band from Melbourne, Australia, Heavensgate, are not to be confused with the 80s German power metal band of the same name. And you can easily tell the difference, apart from the accent, the Aussies will frequently use industrial and electronic "glitch" sounds in their transitions.
It is only the second venue in the US to feature a reversible stage, allowing it to host both indoor and outdoor shows. The indoor music hall has a capacity of 2,400 people, while the outdoor summer amphitheater can take an excess of 5,000.
Parking is available in the "Gold Lot" parking areas, though locals tend to use the "T" (light rail) to get there for free from downtown. Do arrive early for some pre-gaming at Voodoo Brewing or Mike’s Beer Bar.
