Playing folk-rock root fusion, Rainbow Kitten Surprise comes to Stage AE on Wednesday, 23rd September 2026, with a brand-newish album! The band described it as “the raw, unfiltered sound of Rainbow Kitten Surprise doing what we love to do” and an album born from “clearing skeletons out of our closet.”
This is the very last show on an extensive world tour and celebrates the band's fifth studio album, bones, which was released on September 26, 2025. Expect a 'bones'-heavy show featuring roughly about 60% new tracks like "bones," "Espionage," "Dang," "100 Summers" and "Tropics." Plus a generous sprinkling of hits like "It's Called: Freefall," "Cocaine Jesus," "Devil Like Me," and "Fever Pitch."

Back on the road with their brand-new fifth studio album, Bones. It's the bands' first full album to drop since 2021's How to: Friend, Love, Freefall. Kicking off on February 27, 2026, at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this 38-date trek will crisscross the country in 2 parts, ending part 1 on March 25 in Austin, Texas. The second leaps out of Troutdale, Oregon, on July 12 and finally winds up right here at Pittsburgh's Stage AE on September 23, 2026. International dates include Australia in January, followed by European and UK stops in June, which expands the tour to over 50 shows hitting a total of six countries.
