The iconic Welsh singer-songwriter, Marina Diamandis, or widely known as "Marina" and formerly "Marina and the Diamonds", just announced her highly-anticipated headlining tour. 32 dates on the list, it sure is a grand celebration. The trek comes in support of her recently-released sixth studio album "The Princess of Power". Known to put out glitter-infused alt-pop hits, her fan-favorite albums "Electra Heart", "The Family Jewels", and "FROOT" have massively shared her manifesting energies. Following her highly-praised performances and Governors Ball and WorldPride, the iconic queen of alt-pop magic is back with her sixth studio album "Princess of Power". 

In a conversation with Rolling Stone, Marina shares that her latest record takes the form of "manifestation music," just as all her albums have shared. The article's headline declares that the singer is on the lookout for pleasure, power, and a bit of love. Playful and introspective, it's a signature Marina album. 

"I think part of why this album has felt so freeing is because I’ve dove into my fear of love," she shared, explaining how loving is a powerful and brave power to have, especially following hurt. "It can be really hard to reprogram yourself, and I think I’ve finally been able to do that."

A Tale of Alt-Pop Obssession

Fans have associated Marina with her alt-pop. magic, becoming a cult favorite among Tumblr teens back in 2010. Her debut album "The Family Jewels" shared her fearless and brave personality into song.
