Dan and Shay are the newest faces on the country music scene, and they're coming to Stage AE on Thursday 9th April! Embarking upon their first ever headlining tour, the duo will be making ladies swoon all across North America this spring with their dulcet harmonies, catchy hooks and songs about innocent young love. They've come a long way in a short space of time and their talent really shows – these guys will have you dancing all night!

Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney met in Nashville in 2012, and quickly bonded over their similar taste in music. They began writing together the day after they met and went on to start performing as a country rock/pop duo, marketing themselves as Dan + Shay. To date, they have written over 90 songs, and the first song they ever wrote together was put on hold for country trio Rascal Flatts. Within two months they had multiple publishing offers and signed with Warner/Chappell Music. Before forming Dan + Shay, Smyers performed in a group called Bonaventure, plus the rock band Transition. Mooney, meanwhile, was a solo artist signed to rapper T-Pain's label, Nappy Boy Entertainment. Their debut album Where It All Began was released on April 1, 2014, and their Grand Ole Oprey debut and tours with Hunter Hayes and Blake Shelton soon followed.
