The United States will welcome the first half of the tour, with performances in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, and other cities from late September to mid-October. Based out of Kingston, Ontario, The Glorious Sons were founded in 2011 with main members including Jay Emmons, Andrew Young, Adam Paquette, Chris Huot, and Brett Emmons. The band's debut EP, “Shapeless Art,” received favorable reviews, and the group's vivacious live performances only added to their success as an up-and-coming rock band.
Eight straight singles from the Glorious Sons have reached the Top Ten since their debut album, “The Union,” was released in 2014. Three of those singles, namely, "Everything Is Alright," "S.O.S. [Sawed Off Shotgun]," and "Panic Attack,” have risen to the number one spot in the charts.
“For me, the rock genre needs to talk about now,” singer Brett Emmons explains to Classic Rock, “and exploit some of the stuff they didn’t have in the seventies. Modern tech can really break a song wide open, you can let your imagination run wild and be free.”
“Though young, this is a band growing in confidence and industry clout. They know where they’ve been and seem sure of where they are headed,” The Times Colonist shares about their recent performances.
