American singer and internet personality Jacob Sartorius began performing in musicals at the tender age of seven and found himself gaining popularity on Vine in 2014, aged 11, when his anti-bulling message went viral. Sartorius continued to gain fans through social media through joining Musical.ly later that year, becoming popular with his lip-synch video, which led to him becoming one of the app's top stars with over 14 million followers. Jacob's first single “Sweatshirt” was released independently in 2016, and he released The Last Text EP in January 2017.
