NYC rockers, Interpol are coming to Stage AE on Saturday 16th May 2015! Interpol were one of the main bands to emerge from the post-punk revival of the 2000s, especially from the New York indie scene. Often sharing comparisons to bands such as The Strokes and Joy Division. Their epic sound makes them an incredible band to see live, chanting along to anthemic tracks "A Time To Be So Small", "Slow Hands" and fresh released "All The Rage Back Home". Here is your chance to rock out with the alternative originals!Interpol at Stage AE

Interpol are often compared to the likes of Joy Division and the Chameleons, fashioning a atmospheric, epic and dark guitar sound. Their popularity quickly strengthened in the UK and internationally after supporting the originals of post punk, The Cure. Interpol released their second album, 'Antics' in 2004. Three songs entered the Top 40 charts in the U.K. and the entire record later went gold! Their distinctive sound contains a mix of staccato bass and rhythmic, harmonized guitar, with a snare heavy mix, creating the perfect and satisfying rock sound! Their influence on the New York scene cannot be understated as they rose in a prominent time on the radio and the MTV explosion, Interpol sold out because of their own doing, their unique genre and off their own back. Here they are now, back to conquer again!
