Summer 2024 is finally here, and it's time to find the perfect gig to kick it off with! Well, taking the stage at Stage AE in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is none other than Halestorm!!! Hailing from Red Lion, Pennsylvania, Halestorm has been absolutely dominating the rock scene since their formation in 1997 by siblings Lzzy and Arejay Hale.
Known for their insanely relentless touring schedule, often performing upwards of 250 shows a year, the band fronted Lizzy always put everything they have into a show and have been rewarded with an incredibly loyal fan base because of their extremely hard - hitting, high-energy performances.
Although they formed way back in 1997, it wasn't until their second album, "The Strange Case Of...," earned them a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance with the hit single "Love Bites (So Do I)" in 2013. This, though, did finally accelerate their fame as a band and their followup albums, "Into the Wild Life" and "Vicious," charted on the Billboard 200, and simply confirmed the bands place a staple of hard rock.
Solidifying their status as one of rock's powerhouse bands.
Joining Halestorm on tour are two uniquely different bands. Fusing rock, rap, nu metal and electronic music, are Hollywood Undead; currently consisting of J-Dog, Funny Man, Johnny 3 Tears, Charlie Scene, and Danny (all pseudonyms) the band even used to all wear masks! And, finally joining this mix with their incredibly powerful metalcore is Fit For A King; comprising singer Ryan Kirby, guitarists Bobby Lynge and Daniel Gailey, bassist Ryan "Tuck" O'Leary, and drummer Trey Celaya. Under normal circumstances, these three would all be touring along with fellow headliner, punk rockers; I Prevail.
