Grace Potter has always been a free spirit - and that’s exactly the persona she’s taken on for her latest album “Mother Road.” As said in her single “Ready Set Go,” I don’t need no destination/I’ve got everywhere to go/I’m a walking invitation/I’m the daughter of the Mother Road. The album exudes the signature Americana feel, and it’s exactly what you’d imagine you’d be listening to as your drive through the open roads of America.

“I’d been driving solo for about a week and I must’ve been desperate for some company because any time I stopped, I got this bizarre urge to jump in every car, truck, train or bus I saw drive by!” Potter explained the origins of “Ready Set Go,” one of the first songs she wrote for the album. “While I didn’t indulge that highly questionable and risky idea in reality, I did explore it through song…and my imaginary co-pilots took me down some very unexpected roads.”

In the past, Grace Potter has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry. Some of them are Kenny Chesney, Jackson Browne, The Avett Brothers, Trey Anastasio, Nathaniel Rateliff, The Flaming Lips, Trampled by Turtles, Gov't Mule, and more. Her successful collaboration with Kenny Chesney has been long standing, wherein their songs easily climbed the country charts. Their song "You And Tequila" earned Grace Potter her very first Grammy Award nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

Grace Potter’s songs have been included in notable sectors of the media industry too. Potter's rendition of "Stuck in the Middle with You" from Stealer's Wheel was chosen as the theme song for the Netflix series “Grace and Frankie.” Her song “Something That I Want” was also used in the Disney animated film Tangled. Lastly, her song “Instigators” was featured in the video game Dirt 4.

Catch the star live as she makes her way to the Stage AE on Wednesday, the 1st of November, 2023 for a long-awaited performance! This is your chance to jam to her newest songs, and maybe some of her older hits. Grab your tickets today before they sell out!
