Alt-rockers, Blue October comes to Stage AE on Friday, October 1st 2021. Grab some friend, and grab some tickets, and come on down and do something outrageous, get yourself out there and have some fun! Blue October’s brand-new studio album, This Is What I Live For, is the new anthem to live your life by, take some risks with your heart, love stupid, be able to laugh at yourself. All in it’s a great new album from them, and a neat progression for the band and it most definitely will sound awesome live!
Blue October alternative rock band from Houston, Texas, and they are lead singer and guitarist Justin Furstenfeld, drummer Jeremy Furstenfeld, multi-instrumentalist Ryan Delahoussaye on the violin, mandolin and piano, bass guitarist Matt Noveskey, and lead guitarist Will Knaak. The band has had plenty of Top 40 singles over their past ten studio albums and is best known for their platinum singles "Hate Me" and "Into the Ocean" from their 2006 platinum album, Foiled, the single “Hate Me” remained in the top five of the Modern Rock chart for 20 straight weeks. The ironic thing is that their publisher had just dropped them prior to the release of this album and had to quickly back pedal and re-sign them as the album and two of the singles all went platinum. Their latest album, This Is What I Live For, released in October 2020 with the single "Oh My My" reaching the top 10 on the alternative rock radio chart, the album came in at number 19 on the Billboard album chart, and Justin Furstenfeld stating, “these songs should make you want to fall in love with somebody, or miss somebody, or want to do something outrageous with your life.”
